Sandy Angott became our Patient Records Coordinator in August of 2003. Sandy is a graduate of the Mott Community College Dental Assisting Program. She was the recipient of the Max Hart Award for academic excellence in Dental Assisting. She is a current Registered Dental Assistant and is also a Certified Dental Assistant.

Patti Borsh fills a dual role by being both the Business Manager and the Insurance Coordinator. Patti came to the practice back in 1993 with an extensive knowledge of the insurance industry. During her 23 year career, she has been the Office Manager for a national company where she was responsible for all employee insurance benefits. Patti has also worked as an Executive Assistant for an insurance agency, and is very familiar with the selling and servicing of all types of insurance. This vast business experience makes her a perfect fit to manage the variety of tasks needed to be accomplished every day at the Munk Group.

Amy is a 2003 graduate of Mott Community College. She is a Registered/Certified Dental Assistant with 2 years of chairside assisting experience. Amy started working for Dr. Munk in December of 2005 as a receptionist and scheduling coordinator.

Kimberly started her dental career in 1990, focusing on orthodontics. Kim joined our team in 2007 as an orthodontic chairside assistant. She currently maintains her x-ray certification and handles many office promotions. Over the years, she has completed multiple continuing education courses to enhance her chairside techniques.

In January of 2006, XiXi joined the practice as a chairside assistant. She is also working as a lab technician. She is x-ray certified, and has been a chairside assistant for over nine years. XiXi has a Bachelors in arts & science degree from Oakland University. She is currently working towards completing courses for dental school and would one day like to become an orthodontist.

Tangie Hale has been as assistant with Dr. Munk since 1997. She has dual degrees with high honors in dental assisting (1997) and dental hygiene (2000).

Brieanna has been a big part of Munk Orthodontics since 1997. Brieanna completed her training at the Oakland Technical Center, and has since worked in all aspects of our office. She is currently our Lab Technician/Coordinator as well as a wonderful chairside assistant.

With over 25 years in the orthodontic field, Jan Long is one of our most experienced chairside assistants. Jan received her training at Indiana University, and continues to attend numerous seminars specializing in orthodontics. Jan does an outstanding job as the Marketing Director for the Munk Group. This allows her the opportunity to visit schools in the community and make presentations regarding oral health care. Jan has been with Munk Orthodontics for over 16 years.

Julie Walker is our Patient Consultation Coordinator in conjunction with her assisting position. She has worked with Dr. Munk since 1999. Julie is a graduate of the Mott Community College Dental Assisting Program, and had 5 years of previous orthodontic, oral surgery, and periodontal experience before coming to our practice.

Daisy Watson came to us in February of 2002. She has over 10 years of dental experience which have proven to be an invaluable asset as she handles the Receptionist duties at the front desk. Daisy received a Certificate from the Health Occupations Program at the Oakland Technical Center. Besides her receptionist duties, Daisy is a very competent chairside assistant. Daisy has been doing a great job as our patient consultation coordinator.
