Meet Charles Munk, DDS, MS
Dr. Charles W. Munk has been creating beautiful smiles since 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. He attended dental school at the University of Michigan. Dr. Munk completed his residency and received his MS degree in orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy.
Dr. Munk is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the OKU Dental Honor Society, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and the Pinnacle Study Club. Dr. Munk is Michigan State Board Certified in the Specialty of Orthodontics.
He enjoys volunteering and supporting S.C.A.M.P. - a summer camp for mentally and physically challenged children.
Dr. Munk was recognized by Hour Magazine as one of the top orthodontists in Metro Detroit. He lectures around the state on a multitude of topics in orthodontics. In addition, He has been voted Best Orthodontist for 18 years in a row by the public.
Dr. Munk is also extremely honored to have one of his patients featured on the cover of the July 2012 issue of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Now in its 97th year, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is a leading orthodontic resource. The patient, Mary Bis, was treated by both Dr. Charles W. Munk, DDS, MS and Dr. Charles F. Munk, DDS.
Charles and his wife Sarah have two boys. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, skiing and is a self-proclaimed movie fanatic.
